It is often desirable to know the amino acid composition of a sample before finding the sequence information of the sample. A common method for determining amino acid composition is commonly referred to as amino acid analysis, which can be used to determine the amino acid composition, composition, and content of amino acids, peptides, polypeptides, proteins, and antibody samples. Amino acids analysis can determine the amino acid composition of your samples qualitatively as well as quantitatively.

Analysis Approaches We Offer

• Creative Enzymes amino acid composition analysis utilizes existing amino acid auto-analyzers for amino acid content in samples.
• Creative Enzymes amino acid composition analysis hydrolyzes the peptide bonds in the sample by strong acids or bases, which in turn hydrolyze the sample into amino acids
• We then analyze the amino acid composition of the sample by analyzing the individual amino acids and then analyze the sample for amino acid composition or quantitative analysis.

Sample Purity

• Creative Enzymes can analyze most types of samples, including cloning enzyme, restriction enzymes and DNA modifying enzymes.
• Please try to avoid excessive salt concentrations in the samples.
• Do not use buffers that contain large amounts of primary amines, such as TRIS or glycine. as it may interfere with the ninhydrin reaction, resulting in inaccurate quantitative data for specific amino acids.
• Avoid samples with fingerprints and dust. This is because these substances contain large amounts of human proteins, which may affect the assay results.

Sample Size

• Sample size > 2 mg.
• A sufficient amount of solids should be provided to allow for accurate weighing of the sample during our experiments.
• You may choose one or three amino acid assay replicates. When you need a very accurate protein concentration determination, we recommend three biological replicates.
