Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the research and development of enzyme or probiotic projects, design and implementation of project-related R&D experimental programs, analysis of experimental reports, discovery of problems and timely solutions.
  • Summarize issues in the pre-sales and post-sales processes and provide solutions. Manage the entire life cycle of products and services, assist with market research and technical support.
  • Responsible for market research, collecting industry-related information and integrating resources, explore new services and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the technical team, responsible for international sales of products and services, and for the development and maintenance of customer relations
  • Hold conferences or meetings to communicate with and report to clients, establish and maintain stable and long-term cooperation with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., major in biological/biochemical sciences with a firm knowledge in the field. Experiences in protein science, enzyme science, microbiology, probiotics preferred
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and to handle problems of a more difficult nature.
  • Ability to read professional literature and track the development of the discipline.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to independently undertake the management of the project, thinking and solving problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, and test expression and activity of enzymes in a variety of assays
  • Build and screen libraries of enzyme variants
  • Implement established chemoenzymatic synthesis techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional scientific teams to establish design principles for a new class of large molecules
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary scientific team to implement experimental plans and achieve project goals. Communicate results of experiments with team members

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in enzyme evolution or screening, and molecular characterization
  • Expertise in enzyme kinetics, variant library design, or assay development
  • Hands-on experience in molecular biology
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a cross-disciplinary team, external contractors, and members of other functional teams such as chemistry and data science.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with enzyme engineering and chemistry teams to develop new reagents for enzymatic synthesis technology
  • Responsible for optimizing bioconjugation workflows, developing assays for protein purity and for measuring the performance of enzymes and enzymatic reagents, characterizing the enzyme variants produced by the enzyme engineering team, performing oligonucleotide synthesis using the enzymatic reagents, and giving feedback to the team to ensure project deliverables are met.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemical Biology, Molecular Biology, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with enzymology
  • Strong protein expression and purification skills, FPLC, SDS-PAGE, etc.
  • Kinetic assay development, experience with stopped-flow and quench-flow
  • Great analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to learn new technical areas quickly and thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Innovate new methodologies for protein and enzyme synthesis
  • Implement established protein synthesis techniques
  • Perform protein purification and characterization, including in biochemical studies

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, design and execute experiments to characterize growth, domesticate and screen various organisms.
  • Work closely with the Head of Microbial Engineering and Program Directors to develop a strain engineering strategy that is aligned with defined objectives and drive the technical strategy on a day-to-day basis.
  • Collaborate with Microbial Engineering, Plant-Microbe Interaction, Bioprocessing Formulation and Downstream Processing, Digital Sciences and Technology and Regulatory teams to develop commercially relevant processes.
  • Draft and manage Technical Project Plans in collaboration with research partners and CROs.
  • Support the Business Development and Alliance departments by identifying, evaluating and implementing new platform and technology strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. with 2+ years of industrial experience in microbiology, microbial physiology, molecular biology and/or related fields.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, highly organized, and collaborative self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently conduct research on business directed projects through the application of microbiological methods and food fermentation approaches to develop new products and technology in support of the Culture business.
  • Develop project plans in conjunction with the group manager.
  • Independently execute research plan to include experimental design and documentation.
  • Interpret results and formulate future research actions or alternative technical solutions.
  • Communicate research internally and externally.
  • Become a technical expert, resource, and mentor in food microbiology, food fermentation, and functionality analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or above trained in Microbiology, Food Science or related field with a minimum of 2+ years of industrial or equivalent research experience in bacteria physiology, application, or starter culture development.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently design, manage, and perform multi-task projects to a successful result.
  • Experience in leading research projects.
  • Experience in molecular biology is a plus.
  • Experience in basic biochemical analysis (HPLC, GC etc.) is a plus.
  • Compliance with all company policies is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct research on RNA capping and 5’ modifying enzymes including discovery of novel enzymes and characterization of their enzymatic properties.
  • Perform proof-of-concept research on mRNA synthesis applications and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency with common bioinformatics tools.
  • High-throughput experimentation design and execution.
  • Biophysical protein characterization - protein stability, protein-ligand binding.
  • Mammalian cell culture techniques.
  • Recombinant protein purification techniques.
  • Molecular cloning techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in biochemistry or biological sciences.
  • Hands-on experience with enzyme kinetics experimentation and analysis.
  • Fluency in interpretation of atomic structures and formulating testable hypotheses.
  • Publication of original scientific research in high-quality journals.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare formulations of DNA polymerase products and related reagents
  • Perform standard polymerase quality controls
  • Assist in the production and coordination of OEM/Bulk custom orders
  • Plan and troubleshoot experiments
  • Track and maintain stocked inventory of standard OTC products
  • Adhere to protocols and maintain proper documentation

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in molecular biology or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the life science industry
  • Knowledge of polymerase properties and experience with standard polymerase applications (i.e. PCR, qPCR, and RT-PCR)
  • Ability to independently design and execute experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data
