mRNA Cap-2'-O-Methyltransferase

Cat :
ME-4008
Product Description :
mRNA Cap 2'-O-Methyltransferase can use S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) as a methyl donor, adding methyl to the 2'-O of the first nucleotide next to the cap structure at the 5'end of the RNA Group, the Cap 0 is methylated to Cap 1. This enzyme can only act on RNA with a 7-methylguanosine cap structure (m7GpppN), and will not act on RNA with pN, ppN, pppN or GpppN at the 5'end. The Vaccinia Capping System can be used to prepare RNA with a 7-methylguanosine cap structure (m7GpppN).
