Tris-MOPS-SDS (hereinafter referred to as MOPS) is white to off-white instant granules. Each bag of MOPS instant granules can produce with 1 L of 1× MOPS buffer, which is easy to operate and easy to use. The main components of MOPS are Tris, MOPS, EDTA and SDS. In 1×MOPS buffer, the concentration of Tris is 50 mM, the concentration of MOPS is 50 mM, the concentration of EDTA is 1 mM, and the content of SDS is 0.1%. MOPS buffer is a commonly used protein gel electrophoresis buffer in biological experiments. It is suitable for general SDS-PAGE protein electrophoresis, especially PAGE gel for Bis-Tris system. It is compatible with Bis-Tris protein gel and is suitable for Electrophoresis of medium to large molecular weight proteins.

Protocol :

1. Measure about 600 ml of distilled water into the beaker, and place a magnetic stir bar in the beaker.
2. Place the beaker on a magnetic stirrer, slowly add the entire contents of 1 bag of Tris-MOPS-SDS instant granules, and stir the solution until it is completely dissolved.
3. Add distilled water to the Tris-MOPS-SDS solution in step 2, and dilute to 1 L, which is 1× buffer.
After being formulated into 1× solution, the pH value is 7.7±0.2@25℃.
