Product Description :

Tris-Glycine-SDS (hereinafter referred to as TGS) is white to off-white instant granules. Each bag of TGS instant granules can produce 1 L of 1× TGS buffer, which is easy to operate and easy to use. The main components of TGS are Tris, glycine and SDS. The concentration of Tris in 1× TGS buffer is 25 mM, the concentration of glycine is 192 mM, and the content of SDS is 0.1%. TGS buffer is often used as the running buffer for SDS-PAGE.

Protocol :

1. Measure about 600 ml of distilled water into the beaker, and place a magnetic stir bar in the beaker.
2. Place the beaker on a magnetic stirrer, slowly add the entire contents of 1 bag of Tris-Glycine-SDS instant granules, and stir the solution until it is completely dissolved.
3. Add distilled water to the Tris-Glycine-SDS solution in step 2, and dilute to 1 L, which is 1× buffer.
After being formulated into 1× solution, the pH value is 8.30±0.2@25℃.
