TBS-T is white to almost white instant granules. Each bag of TBS-T instant granules can produce 1L 1× TBS-T buffer, which is easy to operate and easy to use.
The main components of TBS-T are sodium chloride, potassium chloride, Tris buffer salt and Tween-20. 1× TBS-T buffer contains sodium chloride at a concentration of 137 mM and potassium chloride at a concentration of 2.7 mM. The concentration of Tris buffer salt is 25 mM, and the content of Tween-20 is 0.05%.
TBS-T is a buffer widely used in biology. It is mainly used in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, enzyme-linked immunoassay, and western blotting experiments. It is often used as a washing buffer, as well as antibody dilution and blocking buffer
Protocol :
1. Measure about 600 ml of distilled water into the beaker, and place a magnetic stir bar in the beaker.
2. Place the beaker on a magnetic stirrer, slowly add the entire contents of 1 bag of TBS-T instant granules, and stir the solution until it is completely dissolved.
3. Add distilled water to the TBS-T solution in step 2, and dilute to 1 L, which is 1× buffer.
After being formulated into 1× solution, the pH value is 7.4±0.2@25℃.
